I recently bought a couple of pairs of nice shoes for work and other fancy pants occasions. I wanted to buy a shoehorn to prevent wear on the heel shoes when putting these new guys out.
In fact I did some homework when shopping for (what might seem like a no-brainer of a purchase) shoehorn. There were several reviews that claimed more apt tool to be very large, or have sharp edges, both of which damage the shoe instead of protecting it. I made sure to avoid those guys and I went with that. So happy that I did. This guy is the perfect size for almost every adult male foot size (I wear size 11). The edges are rounded off very well. It has a beautiful silver plated finish. Solid and sturdy. I highly recommend it.
